February is the perfect month to provide love to our neighbors. One of the ways we can do this is through supporting Transform Burien, a local mission that provides food, clothing, laundry, and love for those in need. Visit the booth in the lobby for a list of their most needed food items and a flier to take to your neighbors.
Small groups are essential to connect with others at Gathering Place as we work towards our mission to Gather, Grow & Give. We will study the last 6 lessons in The Purple Book, which outlines foundational Christian principles applicable to all seasons of Believers. Please select a small group that is convenient for you. One of the sweetest moments we share at Gathering Place is Baby Dedications. This is a time we support our families as they commit to raising their children with love and guidance from Jesus.
There is something about Men getting together to encourage and champion one another. Especially when pancakes, eggs and meats are involved. The food will be great, but the company will be even better. Let us know you are coming so we ensure we have plenty of stacks of hotcakes available!
GP Youth and their friends are invited to a safe and fun evening on Valentine’s Day night. This will be a formal gathering and will include a meal and games.

Each year we set aside time to corporately seek the heart of God for ourselves and for our church. This season of Prayer and Fasting begins Sunday, January 5th through January 26th.
During this time, we will also gather for 3 Friday evenings, the 10th, 17th and 24th of January. Mark your calendars and be praying about what God might be asking you to Fast.
Adult and Family devotionals that align with the 21-day prayer and fasting journey are available for purchase. If you cannot order through Amazon, we will have a handful of the devotionals available for purchase after service on 1/5/25 for $12.

We are excited to host a community Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 31st from 5:30-7:30 (community time). We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help in the following areas: Trunk Hosts, Inside Table Hosts, Treat Coordinators, set up or Clean Up & Candy Donation.
Join us Friday October 11th for a Night of Worship. We will gather at 7pm right here at the church. This will be a powerful evening to launch us into our season of Small Groups. Everyone is welcome whether you join a group or not.

Our men's group will be preparing, serving and cleanup for our breakfast, and this will be a great time to reconnect after the summer and leading into our small groups starting in October. Our Gathering Place softball summer season begins on Tuesday, July 9th and runs through September 3rd. All games are held on Tuesdays at the Russell Road Park in Kent. This is a co-ed, recreational slowpitch softball team and we need you! This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the PNW summer, be active, and get to know your church family. SIGN UP NOW!

Every year kids come back with great testimonies of their time away at camp. Space is limited, registration is open now, and you do not want your children in grades 4th-12th to miss this. Scholarships and fundraising will be available so don’t let cost get in the way of your registration.
