Join the Gathering Place Family for a fun night at the ballpark on Friday, July 25th! First pitch is at 7:05 pm, with gates opening at 5:30 pm. Your ticket includes a classic ballpark meal - hotdog, chips and water.  Stick around after the game for an exciting fireworks show! Women of Purpose: Walk and Talk at the Marina

Join us this summer to get some fresh air, fellowship & exercise as we gather at the Des Moines marina! Some days we can walk, some days we can grab a coffee and just talk, or some days even do both, wherever the morning takes us.  

Open to all ladies of Gathering place, children & friendly dogs are always welcome! And invite a friend!

 No need to sign up – if you can join us, just meet at the marina at 9am!

Gathering Place is hosting a can’t-miss community event for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5th! Join us for bounce houses, hot dogs, popcorn, popsicles, face painting, and a whole lot of fun for the whole family.

This is an amazing opportunity to gather together and give back—let’s live out our mission to Gather, Grow, Give. Many volunteer roles are available—sign up today and be part of the fun!

We will be starting set up on Monday Aug. 4th from 2:00-5:00PM. Please email office@gopfoursquare.org if you are available to help with set up. Most volunteer slots are from 5:00-8:00PM on August 5th.

Parents of children and youth attending camp, as well as all cabin leaders and camp staff, are invited to stay after church this Sunday, July 13 for a one-hour Pre-Camp Rally.

  • Meet the cabin leaders

  • Ask questions during a Q&A

  • Pray together for our campers and staff

  • Worship as one community

Our goal is to come together in unity—aligned in heart, vision, and mission for camp. It’s a great chance for new families to learn more about what to expect and to create intentional space to spiritually prepare ourselves and our kids for what God wants to do at camp.

Summer Bash- Youth Group end of school celebration

Celebrate the end of school and the move up into youth group. The event will be held off site at the DIMENSION XR center in Tukwila for a 1 hr virtual reality gaming experience! Youth will be able to participate in a team-exercise while problem solving together through this special event! One of the ways we can do this is through supporting Transform Burien, a local mission that provides food, clothing, laundry, and love for those in need. Visit the booth in the lobby for a list of their most needed food items and a flier to take to your neighbors.

Each year we set aside time to corporately seek the heart of God for ourselves and for our church. This season of Prayer and Fasting begins Sunday, January 5th through January 26th. 

During this time, we will also gather for 3 Friday evenings, the 10th, 17th and 24th of January.  Mark your calendars and be praying about what God might be asking you to Fast.

Adult and Family devotionals that align with the 21-day prayer and fasting journey are available for purchase. If you cannot order through Amazon, we will have a handful of the devotionals available for purchase after service on 1/5/25 for $12.
