Dear Gathering Place Family...

What a wonderful Easter it was this year! I love gathering with you all to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and remembering the sacrifice that was made for you and me. It was wonderful to see visitors and friends both Saturday and Sunday. I appreciate those of you that took time to invite friends and family to our Community Breakfast and Sunday Service. Seeing people connect with us is truly a reminder of why we exist.

This Sunday I will celebrate nine years as pastor of this congregation. It has been an incredible opportunity to see growth in people’s lives and families. I have been truly honored to serve as your pastor during this time. Together we have seen incredible things accomplished through our congregation. It is because of your faithfulness, commitment, and financial support that we have seen God move in so many incredible ways. I hope you can make it out to join us as I share my heart for the future of Gathering Place and seek to become all that God created us to be.

May 1st is our opportunity to serve at Transform Burien (2:30pm-5:00pm). Please connect with me if you are interested in helping. Every other month we have an opportunity to serve those in greatest need in our community by providing a meal. Weekly we collect food supplies for their food pantry, and you can bring those canned goods any Sunday and put them in the collection bin in the hall. This is a wonderful way to work alongside others in our congregation as well. Please consider being a part of this time together.
